Caernarfon Castle
Pictures from around Caernarfon castle, built by Edward I--or as I call him, "that ."
Much as I hate to give Edward compliments, it is a heck of a castle.
This is what's left of the Seint; it was named for the Segontiaci, who in turn gave their name to Segontium, i.e. Caer Seint, where Maxen found Elen.
The land out towards the top of the picture is the isle of Anglesey, or Môn in Welsh.
